How comes that so few people working at supermarkets/counters/fast food joints use the "I'll sue you" line when they are insulted?
At the MickeyD near my job I once saw one of the guys (very young, very clearly foreign) being covered in insults by an EW who wanted her order to be "cheaper and faster" (at rush hour of course) and called him a "dumb, retarded son of a [woman of leisure]". The guy, very calmly, replied that such language is not acceptable and that in case she kept it going he would have to report her to the Police. Which is pretty much next door. And she had paid by card.
She shut up.
