I actually get some comfort out of this post knowing that I'm not the only one who just about looses it with people who can't operate a simple payment terminal. Here's how ours work..
1. Swipe your payment card.
2. A screen comes up that says to swipe your preferred customer card. Swipe that card now. If you don't have one, press the button that says "No PC Card"
3. Press the button that corresponds to the type of payment card you are using.
Now really....you would think this would be simple. But I still can't believe how many people get confused and tie up the line for 2-3 minutes trying to figure it out. My God, it is three simple steps that are spelled out on the screen and you can't do it? And these people think we are the stupid ones???
