That is actually my intention, Jester. I'll give her a chance to comply first.

Why do people allow their lives to revolve around farmville? the term "get a life" springs to mind.

I agree that the next time she comes in tell her that you know full well that she isn't a guest and that you will get the police if she does it again.

I don't see what it matters to anyone what anyone else lets their lives revolve around, so long as their obsessions don't adversely affect others.

Just because their "life" isn't what you consider "a life" doesn't make it any less valid.

I agree with Andara. I personally don't get Farmville, and really am not much of a gamer (hell, I play Minesweeper), but just because I don't get it doesn't mean it's my place to judge. There are a lot of people that don't understand my obsessions with beer, football, other sports, bicycling, and food tv. I don't understand people who don't like or want sex....but then I don't understand vegetarians or people who like olives, either. Doesn't mean I am better than they are, or that their likes are worse than mine. Merely different. Everyone has their obsessions. No one's obsessions are less or inferior to yours.

Except those who obsess over "Real Housewives of Wherever." Obviously those people are lameass losers.

            Well, yeah, but that's different.

People are into all sorts of things such as museums, opera, sport, cooking, video games etc. Everyone has different tastes and have different opinions on what is good or not and that makes life diverse and interesting, but going to all that effort just to play farmville is something I just don't get.

Seriously, the cops have better things to do, and should only be involved in such situations as a last resort.
If the cops had better things to do, they wouldnt show up. Seriously. I live(d) in a fairly bad part of town and it took the police 2 hours to show up for a attempted car theft (steering column ripped off, etc)

Find out how to get into your router's config table, and when you see her sit down, re-route all her HTTP requests to something interesting. Like goatse.cx, maybe.
That site is no longer around....

I just have to say, as someone who had never until this thread ever heard of "leekspin," that it is easily the next "Get on my horse."

That is all. I shall disseminate this information among all my friends.

Not true. If the cops are called, they will show up, unless the dispatcher feels that the callout is bogus or not worthy of police attention.

And frankly, they DO have better things to do. While they are dealing with the facebook leech, and the accompanying paperwork, they may be needed somewhere else but be unavailable because of that.

Now I am all for calling the cops if this lady is persistent and won't take a hint. But to call them straightaway without first using them as a threat I think is a waste of their time.

                        ^ Wot 'e said.

Tell her to leave, and mention charges of theft of services and trespassing. If she refuses to leave, call the police. If she does leave, remind her that if she returns, the police will be called.

Me and sister site keep sharing someone like that. Darlin said he was here watching the TV for hours..
then Sister site calls & says the same dude is using their wireless has been asked by EVERY desk clerk to leave.. after she'd asked him a room number or his name to verify he was a guest (She said it was a safety measure which isn't a lie).

"3." Okay, 3 isn't a room, so she tried again. "330." Our rooms don't go that high.. and neither do hers.

So.. she asked him to leave and he came back last night. He told APD he was staying here, but he said I wouldn't know him. APD knows that's probably partially true, but they asked his name just to verify he was here I guess.. when he wouldn't give it to them (Bad idea) they strongly suggested he leave SS & my site alone.
