You don't have a cat, do you?

Argabarga: Just how drunk was this guy, anyway? Is it possible that he just didn't remember the incident with the tow truck? (And if he was that drunk, what was he doing behind the wheel in the first place?)
I did have a cat, but it's been a while since I've had an inside one. Although that one disemboweled little critters...so...bleh
I can see the guy trying this again very soon.

Sounds like the idiots who would park in the lot near work. The lot...which was for the tenants of the building it was next to. These tools were constantly getting towed--at least once a week I'd see them come running out from the apartment building across the street, wondering where their ride went. You'd think the first time would have been enough, and yes, there are signs. But, you know, dem words is hard

I've called to have cars towed at night, only to see them driven back into the lot the next morning. After parking in the exact same spot illegally, they tiredly stumble off to sleep at the condo of whatever "friend" didn't want to get them a guest pass.

Call for a tow, and they pick it up again.

You know, when they trap nuisance bears, they have to take them at least 100kms away from the location they were caught. Otherwise they just go back to the same location.

Mice have to be taken a minimum 5kms away or they WILL find their way back to your house.

Apparently nuisance people work the same way. Who knew?

I think he's an adament stupid fungus. You know, the type that just refuses to go away until he gets what he wants.

You'll tow and tow and impound until he's bankrupt, but he's still going to park there until the very day he is out of gas and money, so he will push his car right into that spot anyway.

Argabarga really ought to contact the local university about this dry-pool diving team member, this is an epic psychology experiment that really ought to be monitored and written up for some journal!

Today, a guy in a red sports car accidently backed over the tire spikes at the exit... He pulls forward to look at the damage. Two of his tires are flat. He then pushes his car back in to a parking spot, right back over the spikes. He now has four flat tires.

So the plot thickens, in the last 2 nights, 2 more cars have been towed from that lot, for also having fake permits.

Upon close inspection, all 3 fakes are identical, in that all 3 have the same pattern of mistakes/imperfections which is what got them caught in the first place, in other words, someone over there has set themselves up a bonna-fide counterfeiting operation and is just running them off a printer and giving/selling them to an assortment of friends and buddies.

My guess, he won't be doing it for much longer as

                    A. 100% of his "customers" got busted

                    B. He isn't making any changes to try and get better, he's just hitting "print" and hoping we won't notice

I hope he isn't charging anybody for these, sounds like quality _isn't_ Job 1!

On the other hand, his "customers" do end up paying for them in the end...

Argabarga, just how much is parking where you live? Is it that outrageous that that's the reason people are making phonies? I mean, does it cost that much to park on the streets that people want to pretend they live somewhere that they don't?

Parking could be free, just requiring someone fill out a form to get a legit permit, and people would STILL try to forge it.

                          They do it on principle.

Parking is free on the street, but not allowed from 2am to 6am, garage parking is something like $1.50 per hr, people are just lazy, they'd rather park right where they want to be than have to walk SIX WHOLE BLOCKS!!!

And on that note, number four got hauled in tonight, another copy of the same darn permit
