Abandoned Kitty

All I can say is, I hope you charged her a pet deposit and then kept it! She certainly didn't clean up after the cats she brought with her.

I wonder, if something like that happens again, would the hotel be willing to donate the deposit (or at least part of it) to the shelter to ensure that the cat gets adopted? The shelters around here will accept donations to go towards the adoption fees of particular animals. $50 to $100 would certainly make the kitten very adoptable... on top of its cuteness and personality, that is.

I volunteer at my local no kill shelter, and it really gets to me sometimes how little some people care for animals. I have some stories... but I don't want to make anyone depressed.

he's one of the friendliest cats I ever knew. I guess they became attached to him, because when we took him, they looked like they were going to cry.

Bring hm back for a visit once in a while...

(On second thought, that might not be such a good idea; Cat probably doesn't have such good memories of the place. But you could send them pictures of Cat and his new family.)
