...was my boss, Ma.
Standard planning: Shut down the last fryer at 7:30, close at 8:00, home by 8:30.
At 7:10, we put down a half-batch of chicken. During that, someone placed an order for 12 pieces. Jump to 7:25, we gave out the 12pc, and had little chicken left -- 1 breast, one drumstick, three wings.
Ma laments that she wanted some chicken. "Well, that's all we have, unfortunantly". Not good enough. She hints that she wants me to stop shutting down the fryer, and personally make her a new batch.
Wait a minute. She wants me to spend the next half an hour personally cooking her supper? So I don't get out until 9:00 and get yelled at by Tammy the next day?
Luckily she just grabbed the breast and walked away. I just can't imagine holding off close an extra half an hour, just to make her a meal. I mean, she could've told us BEFORE I put the chicken down at 7:10 -- she'd been there since 3:00.
