That's why I keep a list of busy work chores that I made up for myself. Sometimes you just have to walk away from certain customers when the transaction is finished, and they can't really argue against the employee having a job to do. Even if they do complain about rudeness or some such nonsense because I didn't indulge their monologue, I can say I was trying to get other tasks from the list finished since the customer no longer needed my assistance.The Borg wouldn't know fun if they assimilated an amusement park. -- B'Elanna Torres, Star Trek: Voyager

Jeez, what a schmuck. Willy ever learn to watch his ramblings? Perhaps he should just go to the golf course and work on his putz. It's a schlong shot, but worth a try.
But seriously, tell your boss what happened and ask what to do next time. Unfortunately, there are a lot of jerks out there who get their jollies off of squicking out customer service workers (especially if they're young, attractive and too naive to know to call management / police / psych ward).
