Expecting another complaint

about my 'customer service skills'... last night, had a mother and son walk out with a package of pencils, and I was willing to let it go, cause, it's pencils... but, they came back in. And wanted to buy them, during a rush on my UScan, so I tell her they'll have to wait for a free register. So they go and queue behind a register with 'no line'... except, in this store, all four registers share one line, and there were at least two people in it, waiting patiently, so I point out that she'll have to join the line, so, she jumps over and hangs out at the front of the line, and I get a bit louder to tell her she'll have to get behind a particular customer, as I was pretty sure HE was the end of the line.
It gets to her turn, and I move to pass behind her, and stand where the line was, she pays, and leaves, and I hear nothing... huh...
