I smell a scammer or thief! Few people get that upset. We had a similar problem trying to buy our new computers. The amount was $5,000 + and the card would not go through without verification. Sadly, the bank had closed, so we had to wait until the next day. Oh noes! Strangely enough, we didn't freak out on the clerk, just came back. I would be glad she left, you may have just saved someone from being robbed!
