On the first story - did someone think to call the police and/or paramedics on the girl? Using drugs in the parking lot sounds like something she should be arrested for and taking MORE when she's already strung out sounds like a good road to overdosing and needing first aid.

Don't forget the whole biohazard danger inherent in her tossing the used needles.

As for the old guy, I'm thinking, based on the information given, that he doesn't really like the people he'd be giving those cards to...

Technically you don't need the tapes, do you? Presuming the cops can get ahold of the bottles, they should have the date of issue on them?

One of my old coworkers L had relatives who sent out tacky christmas photo cards. The couple didn't dress up - they just wore tshirts & long denim shorts. And their dogs sat in the front. Very obviously male dogs. L taped the photo up and put beneath it "Merry Dog Balls!"


But this... oh the mental image of those photos going on christmas cards...

#1 Is that legal? If so did anyone happen to give the local police the license number?

#2 In my neck of the woods (Illinois), theft of $300 or more is a felony. Can't your LP take that info to the local public prosecutor. There is a pharm log and security video, isn't that enough for a case?

#3 Brings this classic to mind. OTOH, I agree that it's good that a couple that age still gets it on.
