Indeed. Makes me wonder if part of the SC's ire was because you can't pretend you've been sitting in the audience the whole time when you're covered in snow...

And did they have coats? Still wouldn't change your answer, but I hope so.

I was working at the pub last weekend, these patrons just would not leave after a party they had hired out the venue for. We shoo them out (strict licensing laws) and they go downstairs (bar is upstairs). We finish cleaning and lock up upstairs to find them all huddled downstairs.

I told them they had to leave as we were locking up and they were all like "you're not going to make it wait in the cold for our taxis are you? It's like -16 degrees (it wasn't)"

People grumble about the cold (I'll admit, I grumble about the cold too) but if a door is lock, or somewhere is closing, then people have to go outside whether they want to or not
