My hubby is like this.... rude, aggressive & down right nasty to ALL service workers, as well as other customers It doesn't matter what time of year, just nasty as hell. My son asked me "why is he like that?" The best answer I could come up (and BTW, what keeps me going when dealing with people like the SC) was ... people who act like that are so unhappy and insecure in their own lives they feel the need to make everyone else feel lower than them.

Don't know if that helps, but it certainly keeps me in perspective (veteran of over 30 years retail). Have a better day tomorrow *

I'm so sorry you had to deal with such a horrible cow But at least now you know that you can walk away from any assnuggets in the future.

And I have no doubt that she is miserable and insecure regardless of what she says about being happy. People who are truly happy do not treat others the way she treated you.

I'm glad I had all nice customers today. Since I am coming down with something (again) I was not in a happy bouncy ball mood as usual.

I probably would have had a go at her... or ended up crying.

Man, these are the worst customers most of the time. With the ones that kick up a fuss you can just laugh it off later, but with ones like these? Especially around the most stressful time of the year for retail? I hope she doesn't come back to you to pay for her stuff, and if she does, I hope you'll be able to put her in her place next time. At least the other guy and your manager were on your side.

Well thank you everyone. You really cheered me up. I too hope that the evil woman is not seen by me again, and that I don't get anymore really crazy people. Today was actually awesome, all my customers were good for the most part. So yay.

Though I think I might just be blissed out on the fact that Thursday is my last day off work. Only 12.5 hours left of hina at Wally World.
