Cruise ship roaming/ longish rant

Either way, it's VERY sucky of them to try to weasel out of the legitimate charge that posted all over the ship. One or two short calls? maybe they somehow missed it if it was early in the cruise.... but that many charges??? Not a chance they didn't know.

We had a customer come to our desk(2 days in a 7 day cruise) and DEMAND (and that's putting it very nicely) his charges of over $500 be returned to him, for his onboard phone usage, when we showed him his itemized bill, etc...explained the phone charges, he was peeved. We emailed corporate...they had us refund him!!! Then he came down at the end of the cruise, and even though we were watching his onbord account, he demanded that we remove EVERYTHING! And guess what? We did. His phone charges alone were well over $2,000! No words...just *sigh*

Proof positive that caving in to a SC only encourages them -- he knew he had you guys over a barrel as soon as Corporate gave him the first refund, and that he had a better-than-even chance of making them do it AGAIN, so he took the chance and abused their idiocy kindness.
