Did you have a bird named Owl Cowlings?
Or another cat, far goofier and less dangerous, but far more annoying, named Catto K. Linn?

Was the cat represented by Robert Sharpei-ro?

      (Okay, I'm done. )

Posted update on first post. They checked out. Everything was covered in rat feces, and they stole virtually everything from the room that they could carry.

it is a health hazard; rat and mouse urine can carry leptospirosis, which can be deadly if it enters the body.

And even a healthy, regularly vet-treated cat can give a human 'cat-scratch fever' aka bartonellosis.

Very rarely, a human can get 'kennel cough' (bordetella) from a dog.

We share a great many parasites with our companion animals - not just fleas and ticks, but fungi, worms and others. Fortunately, standard parasite control practices keep us all healthy.

My point is that zoonotic illness isn't a good primary reason for deciding whether an animal species is suitable as a pet. (There's plenty of other reasons, though!)

          2. If you're consistently getting results you don't want, change what you do.
          3. Deal with the situation you have now, however it occurred.
          4. Accept the consequences of your decisions.

And I'll bet you had no security deposit to seize either. I'd be nice to go after whoever put up the money. If I were to get hit with a huge cleanup/replacement bill after paying for these losers I would go municipal on their tails!

Please keep us updated, and I'm glad to hear a perma-ban was issued (assuming it's enforced).

And here I thought you got Cat Scratch Fever from Ted Nugent....

Funny that that sounds so much like mortadella, which tastes to me about like what I would expect dog sickness would taste like. (No, I'm not a fan. It tastes to much like bologna. Yuck!)
