Idiot with a microwave

This happened last night, and was confirmed by no less than three different sources as I was not a witness to this fiasco

This guy apparently tried to return a microwave. All would normally be good, but the brand of microwave ON the box did not match the brand of microwave INSIDE the box. The microwave, according to my friend who saw it, was also quite used, with grease stains inside of it and all the other signs of use. When confronted by the CSM about it, who refused the return, the guy kept saying "But I don't understand why you can't take this back," or something to that extent.

The scam- um, I mean "customer" didn't get his money back. My store might take a lot of stuff back, but not this time

Always check the box first!

Scamming SCs are good at either putting items in boxes to mimic the weight of the real item and then resealing the box, or trying to do what the guy in your story did.
