  • Shut up and go away or I will call security

So I was counting my money tonite, doing my deposit when I heard this tapping on the glass window. I raised my head up and saw this pissed off man, so maybe he had been standing there for a while giving me the stink eye. When I looked up he screams through the glass ARE YOU CLOSED??? I shake my head yes and go back to my deposit. I still feel someone staring at me and I look up and he is still there with a "duh" look on his face. ARE YOU CLOSED BANG BANG BANG ON THE GLASS.
    I scream yes.
SO once again I go back to my deposit and I hear bang bang bang again. Fucking bloody shit hell.
He starts screaming about how we need to post hours. I point to the door with the posted hours and tell him that we closed at three, same as everyday. And I go back to my deposit. And I hear bang bang bang. You need to post hours and its only 3 o clock and how dare I close before three. I look at the clock and its 3:20. So I go back to my deposit and I hear bang bang bang again. Fuck
He starts repeating everything. SO I have had enough and I go to the door and open it and I tell him our hours are posted and its now 3:25 and we close promptly at 3:00, not one min more. And I add that if he doesn't leave I'm calling security. Damn it I have here by myself with hundreds of dollars and who knows he might be trying to get me to open the door to rob me.
SO he mumbles something stupid and walks away.

Yup, customer standard time again. "In my head it's only 3:00 and they should take my business!!" Never mind what the clock says, the clock is obviously wrong!

Wow. You are braver than I am. I wouldn't have opened the door. I would have called the cops.

BAD!!! You should not have opened that door. If he had been there to rob you, that would have allowed him in. You should have called security and let them handle it. That is what they do.

People did that to me when I worked at the gas station constantly. I swear, some people think that every convenience store is 24/7.

I'd be closed, all the lights would be off in the store (save for a lamp I used to help count my till and do paperwork), only the lights over the pumps were on, and people would still drive up and bang on the windows or the doors.

I couldn't believe it. Who goes up to a dark store and just bangs on the windows or doors?

The best were people that had money in their hands and shoved that against the glass as well. NO.

My thoughts exactly. I cringed when I got to the part where you said you opened the door. I'm glad nothing bad happened, but you might not be so lucky next time. So please don't let there be a next time.

That guy was really thick. What an ass.

I second everyone's advice to not open the doors, though. You don't know what his intentions really were. If he can't take no for an answer, call security or the police. Your safety is more important than telling some idiot off.
