    More phun on the phone!

    Tonight, we got a phone call.

    At 12:30, over two hours after we had closed.

    Asking us if we had Indianapolis Colts jerseys.



    Mind you, this is Wisconsin, where the Green Bay Packers are the only football team that matters.

    The background noises suggested the caller was calling from her favorite purveyor of certain tasty beverages.

    I'm going to miss dealing with these people on third shift...

    I've been here for two years, work harder than most others, and I'm getting paid $1.80 an hour
    less than the 17 year old slacker you hired two months ago. Maybe that's why I'm not chipper at work.

        Two things I DON'T miss about Wisconsin--everyone thinking that everyone in the state actually cares about football and/or the Packers, and the winters.

          Why do people wear jerseys, anyway? I don't want to wear clothing with someone ELSE's name on it

            I have an authentic baseball jersey that I had specially made to say "stalker." It's an inside joke that has to do with my obsession.
            I'm bringing disdain back...with a vengeance.
