I remember one guy who refused to move up because parking and waiting for your order was a conspiracy. He was really nasty about it, too. I think we ended up refunding him and telling him to go away, but that was 12 years ago so it's a tad fuzzy :P

I read a post on ripoffreports from a guy who was asked to pull up at a McD's drive-thru and he flat out refused. His reasoning was that if he stayed at the window it would motivate the employees to get his order done faster. The manager finally had enough and told him she would refund his debit card and he could take his business elsewhere. Then he refused to move unless the manager gave him a cash refund.

They had to call the police on him (and he waited, parked in front of the food window with his kids in the car). The employees had to run some orders out to cars behind him then started handing food out at the pay window while they waited for the police. I guess as the cars behind him were served some of them beeped at him and swore at him as they drove by and he blamed the restaurant for "inciting" other customers against him and exposing his children to foul language.

The manager didn't want to press charges, she just wanted him gone so the police told him he could move his car or they would arrest him and tow it. They also gave him a choice of accepting the refund to his debit card or going to jail.

I couldn't believe this guy was actually writing a complaint about the restaurant on a consumer website and not lying or even trying to hide the fact that he was a huge dick that got what he deserved.

I and most of the other people who commented let him know what an inconsiderate asshole he was, that he was a horrible parent and we wished that he HAD been arrested.

I couldn't believe this guy was actually writing a complaint about the restaurant on a consumer website and not lying or even trying to hide the fact that he was a huge dick that got what he deserved.
