Maybe this belongs over in "Oops," I'm not sure.
I'm making a wolf costume. An AWESOME wolf costume. Just finished the head. Which means the fur color is well and truly set, I can't change things at this point. At least not without completely re-making the head, which would set the project back a couple of weeks, and the deadline is on the 31st.
And I just remembered that the customer had requested I order a specific fur. Which I forgot about entirely.
But given that our conversation discussing this costume is one hundred and thirteen e-mails long at this point... I can't help but feel that it's not entirely my fault that I missed something mentioned in just one of them.
I really wish more people could be frigging concise.
The fur I actually used is not entirely unlike what he wanted, it's slightly lighter and just a touch more brown tone, but otherwise very much the same stuff. So hopefully he won't mind and this will all be all right in any case. The awesomeness may make up for the color being not perfect.
Edit: Oh geez I cannot brain today. I just sent an e-mail asking this customer a question, and realized right after I hit send that I had the answer. Then I did the SAME thing to another customer with another question. *facepalm* Right, this probably does go in "Oops", I'm obviously an idiot.
