From what I've seen and heard, there is a higher percentage of game-focused, immature types on Xbox.
lol that can also be military believe me
had a bunch of guys on xbox on my 2nd & 3rd ship - second ship had the halo nuts and the 3rd ship we had a guy who loved the cutesy mario games.

though my bf does prefer the military games mostly, but he also likes a few of the cute ones too.

Another reason I like this board: More people responded to the quick one-liner I threw in to poke a bit of fun at myself than to my little self-therapy idea.

I was dating (and later married) a guy I met at a Doctor Who Fan Club.
Story of my life! Most geeks are smart enough to work hard to hold onto the good ones the first time around, I've noticed. One day maybe I'll find that special someone who can tank for my healer and cover my sniper's back.

Heh. That reminded me of a 3d demo thing a friend of mine from the gaming conventions put together for one of her digital editing classes. Tank Porn. It's SFW, I promise, though you may have to do some of explaining to anyone who hears it.

My manager at the record store was a bit on the small side. There were several times where we'd have some douchebag alpha male type try and bully her like this into giving them what they wanted. Usually all it took to get them to behave was either me walking up behind her and folding my arms across my chest, or our other awesome co-worker coming up and putting on his Angry Black Man Face (his words). I never got to witness any behavior this unacceptable though. I'm not sure why my presence was enough to dissuade it (there were plenty of stories like this from shifts I didn't work), but it seemed to. At least, that was the AM's assessment. I just chalked it up to luck.

We were very protective of each other. Still are, actually, since my (former) manager is pretty much my best friend.
