Curious, does anyone here work on the phone?

I work from home and I enjoy it immensely.

How do others see those of us that work on the phone as sales people.

No, we are not the devil, simply hard working folks with a bad rep from the public.

I never worked in any sales, but I used to work in a call center for a repair service and I would constantly get mistaken for a sales call. I don't envy your job at all my friend. While I am not usually interested in cold calls, I am at the very least polite and say no thanks, not interested. I've heard some people go berzerk when they realize what you're pitching...
