Some of those rules are weird. I can't go anywhere without my glasses because I CANNOT SEE WORTH CRAP without them. So anywhere I went with my passport, I'd be wearing glasses even if I wasn't in the photo. And no tying back your hair? I almost always wear it that way, and certainly would while traveling just to keep it neat.
