    Me: *phone greeting*
    Them: ...........wait. What did you say? I.... what?
    Me:.... *phone greeting*
    Them: Oh, wow. Okay. So I have a question *beep*

    They hang up.

    Right. Okay. 2 minutes later they call back:

    Them: So.... my TV is broken and I want to bring it today. Do I have to pay your diag fee when I drop it off.
    Me: Yes. All Diag fees are collected up front.
    Them: Wow..... that sucks...

    *hangs up*


    I don't. GAH.

          When I got my U-Verse setup, they said that the number one reason for calls to their support line were that "the remote is broken".

            Ah yes, the days of 'wake and bake'. I sometimes miss them.

            I tended not to inflict myself upon innocent customer service workers when I did it, though.
