Weirdest thefts?

When I did my service with jury duty, the guy stole about $800 worth of pain killers and related drugs AND a pack of gum.

Now, think of your average drug store of where the pain killers are in huge quantities and then think of where the gum is (not a multi-pack, just one of the 5-stick packs). If you're trying to steal all that, why would you get the gum??
