There are many presharpened pencils available, as this Google search reveals. I'd be willing to bet some of them were for sale near the pencils the SC in Teefies2's store had. Besides, my experience with presharpened pencils is they don't stay that way very long, and frequently need resharpening.

Ummm, the same way they'd use them after the point wore down if they were pre-sharpened? By putting them into a pencil sharpener????
