Do not take this medication if you are allergic to acetaminophen, pamabrom, or pyrilamine.
If you have certain conditions, you may need a dose adjustment or special tests to safely use this medication. Before you take acetaminophen, pamabrom, and pyrilamine, tell your doctor if you have:

• liver disease (especially cirrhosis);
• kidney disease;
• asthma, bronchitis, emphysema, or other breathing problem;
• glaucoma;
• a blockage in your stomach or intestines;
• enlarged prostate or urination problems; or
• if you drink more than three alcoholic beverages per day.

So they are aware that men use it and since that's the only thing they are concerned about...it must not be that bad.

This reminds me of the time I was a small island with the worst toothache in my life. I know passable French, my SO is fluent in Spanish but what did they speak in the little village near the resort? A local Dutch/some other language dialect. I needed Oragel and ended up repeating Oragel and miming a teething baby. The lady at the pharmacy finally figured out what I needed and got me teething gel - at least I hope that was what it was - it had a picture of a baby on it and worked like Oragel and I'm still alive.

The active ingredients in Pamprin are: acetaminophen, pamabrom, and pyrilamine. Acetaminophen is a pain reliever and fever reducer, pamabrom is a diuretic (for the water retention), and pyrilamine is an antihistamine. Actually, I'm curious as to what the antihistamine in a medication marketed for those dealing with menstrual pain is supposed to be treating. ^-.-^

Because hormones not only cause water retention (diuretic needed), but also tissue swelling. Antihistamines will take that down.

I've always found that products with Naproxen, like Aleve, work better for me during 'that time.' I've even had prescriptions for it at full strength. Nothing else seems to help me; don't know why, but if I don't take something I'd be in bed for 2-days or so.

Not to sound like you Raps but OH BLOODY HELL!

I doubt it wouldn't work for the symptoms for guys..but um pepida? My first instinct would be Pepto mixed with pepsi. Don't think that would do much for headaches.
