My co-worker and I had just opened up at 8am when a woman comes in. She starts praising some "yummy yummy" ribs that their friends had bought from our meat department. She was going camping and those would be the perfect meal.
My co-worker explains to her that it is too early to get ribs as the meat department owner won't be in for another hour. She goes off to get other stuff and we go back to work. Soon we hear her calling out "Hello, hello."
Yes, she is standing in front of the dark, obviously closed meat counter. I approach her and ask if I can help her. She goes on again about the "yummy yummy" ribs she wants to take camping. I tell her that the meat counter does not open until 9am and that the ribs will not be ready until noon.
She buys her stuff and leaves, we think she got the hint. Yeah right. At 9 am sharp she comes back and claims that we told her the ribs would be ready when they opened. Meat department guys explains to her that they won't be ready until noon at the earliest.
She pouts and tells him that they will be leaving for their camping trip then. The kicker is that she asked if there is anyway he could turn the rotisserie oven "on high so that the ribs cook faster".
