  • Dear Ex-Client, Round 2

    Dear Ex-Client,

After our last "discussion", I'd hoped that you'd come to understand that, frankly, you're unarmed in a battle of wits. It seems though, that comprehension is not one of your strong points, which nearly saddens me.

Yes, I did receive your lovely apology in which you stated you were never going to contact me again. As I suspected though, the sincerity was not as valid as I thought.

It was almost adorable though that you formed four separate fake companies and people and placed new orders for each. However, may I recommend the next time you make fake identities, that you don't use the same avatar on your instant messenger that you always use. I know you love that picture, but its a dead giveaway.

Please do pass on my thanks to your best friend, for his vigilance in notifying me that you had decided to take the unpaid for design, and have it copied. Unfortunately for you, that is copyright infringement, and most likely theft of goods, along with fraud and whatnot. I think your bff's intention was to make me very sad, but really, I do appreciate the note he left.

I was having a difficult time with some of the charges I wanted to bring against you, but your amazingly highly accurate tribute to my work was a nice foothold that I've been hoping for. It was very, very sweet of you to give me that. I think it's the best present I've had since a few Christmases ago! Your ISP was very pleased to hear about it as well, and they were more than happy to disable your website, and your internet service at home.

Oh. Right. You won't be able to see any of this, as you don't have internet now. Well, maybe you can use your bff's computer, as I'm sure he'd be more than willing to share. Just don't get his service turned off as well!

    Toodle-oo,
    Seraph

I think I speak for all of us when I say:

    <nelson>HA HA</nelson>

I have to admit, I find stories of people who don't get that copyright applies on the internet, and that enforcing it really isn't all THAT hard.

I don't have an attitude problem. You have a perception problem.

Sometimes, it really can be, especially when the violator is in a different country. For instance, unfortunately there's this one guy in Vietnam who's ripping off my work, and I've tried for months to get it removed. No dice.

Well, they were obviously a big target, given that he actually tried to attempt this.

Heh, he's now DDOSing my site. Not really that worried though, because frankly, not like I'm hard up for orders at the moment. Also, most of my clients know how to get in contact with me through other methods, so I'm more than willing to let him bash his head against my servers for a bit.

Please tell me he's doing it from his buddy's house so you get that ISP yanked too.

Oh, forget just yanking his BFF's ISP; doesn't that automatically qualify him for an all-expenses vacation to the state-run correctional institute of his choice?

Is this the guy that after you refused to drop the price by 40% he then send bomb emails to you, claimed to be hacked to Paypal & spammed Paypal itelf?

If it is then i worry for any woman that turns down a offer of a date from him. They will return home to find their law covered in salt and their dog nailed to the door.

The dog's perfectly safe. If he brings nails, he'd forget a hammer. If he brings a hammer, he'd forget nails.

And either way, he wouldn't be able to catch a small dog - and a large dog would make him piss his pants.
