This morning I had a customer walk up with a sales paper to do an ad match. The sales paper expired yesterday. I told her "This ad only runs through the 20th and it's the 21st today.
She said "No, it's the 20th!"
I said "My register says it's the 21st."
She showed me her cell phone and pointed to characters on a screen that were too far away for me to see anyway, and that I didn't care about, and she insisted her phone said it was the 20th.
I swiveled the indicator around and showed it to her that on the register, the date was the 21st, and it was the 21st, and her ad was out of date.
She continued to insist it was the 20th.
I went and got someone else to back me up, and then she admitted that it was the 21st and gave up on her price match.
