Wow, someone forgot to take their elephant tranquilizers that day. I will never understand why some people feel the need to make a huge screaming deal out of something so trivial or easily fixed. It seems at least good the daughter hasn't acquired her mother's charm, but I wouldn't put it past Mommy to stomp back in and try to learn everyone a lesson about serving her princess. Or trying to sic relatives and friends on the employees to exact revenge. Way too many people are a bad combination of petty and mentally unhinged that they will not only do shit like that, but feel justified in doing so.

Still, the mother's reactions were bloody priceless. I have a feeling this is not her first time learning she is not immune to the law, but she sure acted like it was.

Tiny little bit of an update. Last night the manager who kicked them out, the co-worker who asked for I.D and myself went into a store across the road from the pub. The Young Girls Boyfriend was in there shopping. As soon as he saw the three of us walking down the same aisle as him, he went wide eyed and tried to hide his face. We giggled and walked past him.

I can think of a few legitimate reasons, all along the lines of "cruiser was T-boned while responding to a call, and is burning, cop is injured, need to get him out before the gas tank explodes".

YGM went from "ticked off because daughter's mistake keeps her from being served" to "assaulting a police officer" in a ridiculously short time.

Now that is a very good reason. Just be careful doing it, don't want to injure the cop more by pulling him out of the car...
