Background: my SM is very hands on and if someone notices someone pocket something she'll stop them and try to coax them into giving it up. She won't put her hands on them or stop them from leaving if they don't feel cooperative. She's stopped numerous people from leaving with our merchandise. /end background

So apparently on one of my days last week someone wasn't happy to be stop and pulled a knife on her.

I found this all out when a cop stopped by and just kinda strolled through the store. I thanked him for serving (like I do to all police officers and military men and women that come through my line) and he just casually mentions we had an armed robbery.

Oh and after the cop told me about that (my response was an immediate and dumb 'I wasn't here' and he was like 'no, you weren't ') I paged the MOD and he was like 'eh, it wasn't an armed robbery, the guy just pulled a knife on <SM>' : eek:

And I'm guessing what the asshole was stealing wasn't even anything of significant value - not like a piece of jewelry or a small, but expensive bit of electronics. In his mind, I'm sure "The customer is always right" is on repeat and his definition of "customer" is "anyone who walks in a store, even if they buy nothing and/or shoplift."

What a dumbfuck - if you're gonna whip out a knife, do it in a more epic situation and not because you fail at stealing a pack of gum or something. I love how everyone was so casual about it happening too.

The only redeeming quality he has shown is that he defended me to the racist lady. But yeah. I hate working with him. To make it worse I work with him the most lately. I work 1 shift with my favorite manager a week. If I'm lucky.
