I had someone upset yesterday because we didn't have Justin Bieber's Christmas CD. Well, maybe if you hadn't waited until the week after it might have been there.
Our Christmas CDs and movies were all pulled off the floor the day after Christmas. We needed the room to put up transition stuff.

In defence of the ink tag (purely on the grounds of being able to buy then take an item out of the shop with one in), I've done that before. Bought a few tops for my younger daughter and they left one tag in by mistake. The problem came when I realised (having bought them on a visit to my parents, 100 miles off) and it turned out that the chain was changing their tags (from ink type to alarm ones) at the time and all of the shops local to me had already been altered with the new tag remover not working on the old style. I ended up having to hacksaw the tag off instead as the only realistic choice.
On the other hand, I did have the receipt with me and accepted that they couldn't help calmly. :P

We had about maybe a doz left that were just put out with a little bit of Christmas left that went on clearance. If he weren't in there he weren't anywhere.

I experienced something similar once I bought a jacket for Lil Zel - they removed the tag that makes the alarm go *beep* but forgot to remove the ink tag, and other outlets couldn't help me. But luckily the original store wasn't far away, so I calmly went there and got the tag removed without any fuzz. I even had the receipt ready but there wasn't any need for that since the cashier remembered that I had been there two days ago.

Another theory states that this has already happened.
