Uh, his freight has been sitting there 6 weeks, and he waited until *yesterday* to actually ship it? Pardon my French, but are you fucking kidding me? Say it with me, boys and girls...failure in planning on *your* part, does not make it an emergency on *my* part

Don't forget the part that the shipment had been waiting 6 weeks, but *still* wasn't ready to go out for the pickup they scheduled? Uh-huh.

The part that really got me was his complaint that his customers have been waiting 6 weeks. Why did you wait 6 weeks to ship it and, if you had it 6 weeks, why wasn't it ready???

Because he's lazy, incompetent, and unwilling to take responsibility for his own mistakes, laziness and incompetence.

We get some of these with furniture deliveries for High End Home Store too. Most of the time it all works out fine, but then we'll get a call from some SC saying the delivery people did this and didn't do that and what are we gonna do about it...then we call the delivery people and get the OTHER side of the story. Cue much sputtering of protests from SC about how they were promised X Y and Z or they were home all morning and the phone number on file is right but nobody called or came by. I'm sure the drivers have everything documented, just like we have all our calls recorded. Losers.

yeah i think he figured "lawyer threat" meant you'd do what he wanted.

but I can also imagine telling him, "Your lawyer is going to sue us for refusing to illegally forge documents for you? This I HAVE to see."




Idiots like that don't realize... "lawyer" means nothing when it comes to suing. The only thing that matters is what the judge says. And I can't imagine the judge agreeing with breaking the law.

Of course, if he starts throwing words like "sue" and "lawsuit" around, you can always fall back on, "I'm sorry, sir, but since you've stated your intent to sue us, any further communications must be done via our legal department. Have a nice day!" *click*
