In a case like this, where the required candy was actually Unobtainium, a call to the band's manager explaining the situation would probably take care of the issue (assuming the request was a "make sure they read the whole thing" rather than a case of "I'm a star, and they'd better provide whatever I want") - after all, it would show that they had read the requirements, but this one item requested was not available due to unforseen circumstances.Any fool can piss on the floor. Band Stage
One thing to remember, for the big stages when things go wrong people get hurt.
Last year if I remember right there were two cases of stages collapsing because of high winds. In one case people were killed.
Interesting enough in the case where someone died no major charges were filed because the wind storm was consider to be a freak occurrence that could not be planned for. But the other case where no-one died but people were injuried charges were filed because it was prove the stage was NOT set up properly.Comment
