There's an elderly group of regulars at my mall that EVERY DAY ask me when I'm going to have a baby (because my coworker had on, so they say it's my turn) and offering to be the fathers.
Um, hello, sexual harassment much? Grrr!

I'd really like this this to keep being a discussion about pregnant EWs, and not just a sharing time about everyone's pregnancies and pregnancy sightings (unless the sighting is of someone being an EW or a SC)... it's off topic and frankly annoying me. Thanks.
Now, I'd like to digress from my prepared remarks to discuss how I invented the terlet...

I can't have children because I'm not technically alive. Especially with how "annoyed" people get nowadays with vampire talk, all I have to do is use that excuse, and people get so irritated they quit talking to me.

Many many years ago, and in a galaxy far away, I briefly attempted to have children with my wife. She has since departed. I have a new wife (of 34 years this May) and no children. Way back when, I acknowledged that at some time in the future I would feel remorse at not having any kids. Knowing that did not change my decision not to have any. I figured I would just deal with those feelings if and when they arose. So far, I have managed just fine.

            Thread drift happens.
That's the beauty of a live forum.
Soemtimes topics will bring personal anecdotes to mind, and topics will veer slightly.

That's why we have such a wonderful forum of people who learn about each other and what we have been through in our lives.
Too tired of living and too tired to end it. What a conundrum.

I feel your pain, veniteangeli. I'm 27, married 10 months, have no children and no desire to have any. I've felt that way since I was 14, without wavering. I really hate it when people say, "You'll want them when you're older," like it has to do with my maturity level or something. I won't say I'm never having kids, because I think God takes "never" as a challenge, but as long as I feel the way I've felt for the last 13 years, I will do whatever I can to prevent pregnancy. My husband got a vasectomy within a month of our engagement, and the first doctor he saw told him he wouldn't do it because Shaun was "too young" at 26. We were both absolutely infuriated. If we were old enough to vote, drink, own a gun, own a house, rent a car, and die for our country, why weren't we old enough to make the choice not to have children?

Seems as if we're drifting way too far into Fratching territory.
