This part here, I actually understand...They weren't upset that your computer wasn't working, so you couldn't process calls...they were upset that your call center still sent the call to you, forcing them to call back. Is still something minor, but from what you've said about your bank, might have been the straw that broke the camel's back, as it were. Your call center's failure caused the customer extra work, so they were paying them back

Exactly. That is the reasonable response, even CB agrees on this fact. Sadly, that is not Call Center's policy so I am stuck between a rock and a hard place.

I'll either take myself out of the available queue or log out of the phone system altogether while I wait for the system to reboot or fix itself.

It was my hard phone that was malfunctioning. I COULD NOT get out of the Ready no matter what we clicked or touched. So that whole time there was a manager poking away at the phone trying to focibly log me out, all the while calls kept coming in.

so she wants you to offer her credit even if she doesn't qualify ... why? So she can feel pretty?
or perhaps she wants the offer so that when her application is denied she can try to act like you owe her a card because you offered it?
