    -it's 2 and a half hours after checking in.
    -Yes I understand you've been driving all night and just want to sleep. Go sleep. You have until noon.
    -No, I will not refund your money so you can spend it at Motel 6 instead.
    -Yes, it sucks your mom is in the hospital. Still doesn't change the fact that you are asking for a refund 2 and a half hours later.
    -My manager will say the same thing. No, I won't call her. Ask her yourself in the morning.
    To right the countless wrongs of our days... We shine this light of true redemption, that this place may become as paradise...Oh, what a wonderful world such would be...

    So....he just felt like getting a refund and going elsewhere? No other reason given? That's dumb.

      He seemed to think that because he didn't use the room even after 2 1/2 hours after checking in, that he should get a refund. I refused saying in essence that it's their choice what they do with the room for 2 1/2 hours. I usually allow 15-20 minutes for full refund. So they are way past the statute of limitations.

        Good grief, if I'd been driving all night and "wanted to sleep" ... I wouldn't be hanging around the lobby 2 1/2 hours after check-in asking for a refund. I'd be long gone in the Land of Nod.

            There was a time where if a mouse squeaked 5 rooms away I would be up in a flash. I am still a very light sleeper, but not quite that bad though. However, yes..if I had been driving a long time .. and needed sleep..I can fall asleep very quickly. I agree that he did a power nap and just didn't want to pay.

              Ha ha! The moron probably just "got bored" and then decides that he wants to check in someplace else. You picked the place to stay, idiot, so suck it up and grow up and stop harassing the staff for a refund when you agreed to check in there in the first place.

              The word "customer" surely doesn't mean "common sense."

                    Follow up: One of the two rooms was refunded 10% while no change was made on the other. More than what the SC deserves, but not a huge amount in the grand scheme of things. Just under $7
