Well of course they feel that way. Feeling otherwise would mean admitting that they actually cause some of their problems themselves by being idiots or jerks, and they'll never admit that they're anything less than perfect.

Heck, they won't even admit that some of their problems could be simply bad luck, and that they aren't some sort of special snowflake way above any type of random cosmic crap.
