And then there are the guys who are so in denial about having any sort of problem that involves their junk that they refuse to change anything in their life that will accommodate that problem. It's actually all rather sad, really.

    ^-.-^
As we have seen in other posts this unfortunately includes not changing their underwear.

This is the reason my building has locks on every set of bathrooms except ones on the first floor that are open for public use. There are signs on every floor indicating this, so naturally I get the bitchy people who whine about having to take an elevator a whole 2 floors down to use the bathroom. I do make exceptions (e.g. folks with small kids) but they are rare. I do think it's sad that we have to do that so we can maintain clean bathrooms for ourselves.

Even so, right now we have a mystery employee who apparently is leaving gobs of hair in the sinks, according to one of my coworkers. Plenty of people don't even have a shred of consideration for the people they work with, for crying out loud. They probably steal lunches, too. I shudder to think that things like that are probably WORSE at home.

A lot of assholes go into the bathroom right when the cleaning people start cleaning, so the cleaning people have to stand outside waiting for the asshole to leave (esp. when the asshole told the cleaning person "I'll just be a min.") Many assholes spend 4-10 min holding up the cleaning person.
That's true, I've had jobs where one of my duties was to clean the bathrooms. In my last job, the bathrooms had keys that were kept at the counter in theory because some teenagers vandalized the men's room. I say in theory because often, someone would walk off with the key, and it would have to be replaced.

Hell, I have a chronic gastrointestinal condition that when triggered can require several bathroom trips a day, but even in the midst of that I'd never be a bitch to someone cleaning a bathroom. Then again I map out where all the bathrooms in a building are.

Thinking about the "homeless bath"...reminds me that some of the truck stops here have showers and lounges. Dunno if it's a free shower though.
The showers at truck stops are free if you buy 50 gallons or more of diesel (some places it's 75 gallons). Otherwise, there's a charge (last time I checked, TA/Petro was $12).
Any fool can piss on the floor. It takes a talented SC to shit on the ceiling.
