Quite a few SCs this week. XD
It's Broken.
At the moment, we have two pumps out of order cuz some moron crashed their car into them. I'm still trying to figure out just how someone could do that, never mind why customers seem unable to work out that if a pair of pumps has "out of order" signs, "do not use" tape and cones all over, that they're broken and can't be used. There have been several customers this week who have tried to use the broken pumps. Sigh.
Children Are Rude!
At the moment, we're handing out these vouchers for schools. We have to ask each and every customer if they want them. This woman just replied to my query, "I hate children! They're rude and horrible!"
I replied, "Surely not all children?"
She replied, "Yes! They're fucking rude!" Might be just me, but I always think that if someone makes a generalisation like that about a group being rude, that they're the rude one.
I'll Sue You!
This SC tried to get into the petrol station after closing time, waving a money off voucher. It being past closing time, I naturally refused to let her in. She shouted, "I'll sue you if you don't let me in!" I didn't bother to reply. Seriously? I don't have any money, idiot. And if you mean about suing the petrol station... really, SC? Really? Cuz you couldn't get in after closing time? You'd be laughed out of any lawyer's office.
I Don't Want To Queue!
It was a very busy day and naturally, we had massive queues; partly due to the broken pumps and partly cuz every single person in the town simultaniously decided, "We must all get petrol now!"
This SC complained about having to queue to get to the pumps and the queue to pay. She even said, "Why don't you fix those pumps then people wouldn't have to queue?" We do have them logged, but we can't magic up a workman just like that. It always annoys me when customers moan about queues when there is nothing we can do about them. Also, there are other petrol stations in the town so if you don't want to queue, then go elsewhere.
