Yesterday was the tail end (I hope) of a heat wave in this part of the world. It was actually only 32 degrees, although with the humid-ex it felt like 42 degrees. It has been way too hot for over a week, and it is starting to take a toll on all of us. We show up at our job site (new home construction) in the morning and find: a case of water bottles, with a note attached "keep cool! thanks for building our home"

Thank you kind anonymous home owner, for acknowledging the effort it is taking to just do our jobs today. Your empathy was our strength.
