I was working on Friday and boss was in the same room.
The phone rang and Boss answered it himself. He listened for a few seconds, and then, with what appeared to be genuine enthusiasm, started speaking.
"Why thank you! That's really nice, but we're making money here, hand over fist! I don't know what I'm going to do with it all! But thanks for thinking of us, Kate!"
He turned to me and smirked.
"That was Kate. She wanted to loan our business money."
