Yesterday, one of the checkers called me over because the receipt came up blank. I went over and did a duplicate receipt and the same thing happened. I opened the receipt case and saw that someone put the receipt tape in backwards which caused the receipt to come up blank. I put the receipt tape in the correct way. I did another duplicate receipt which was successful and handed the receipt to the customer. The customer let me know how grateful she was that I took the time to do that.
