I'm not sure if this belongs here or no, so feel free to move it..
Last Sat was my birthday, and i kind of thought my parents would be sending me flowers...as they ususally do. I told my mom I had a wedding to go to, and would only be home in the morning...and when I left about 11, nothing yet. So i get home, and the florist had called about 2:30pm...and were not open on Sunday. So Monday I go in, as I was off, and said hey, i got a call, and since I will be in and out today, can i pick up my flowers.
The woman said, "oh, you had the roses, I'm so sorry, we knew to call in the morning, but they came in late, which is why we didn't call until later" She then said that she didn't wnat to give me old flowers, and would do up a new arrangement, and they should be in shortly. So i got a brand new dozen roses! Most places I think would have just handed over the ones from Sat...you can bet this place will get my business too from now on!
