As much as i complain about a few of my users here I do have some good ones (believe it or not).
Our HR manager is one.
She called me but I wasn't able to answer the phone so she left a short, yet descriptive, voicemail.
The amazing part? She didn't call me back 100 times and the voice mail told me what I needed to know, no "I got an error" (with no description) message.
I was heading down to her floor anyway and was going to walk past her office so I just stuck my head in and told her I would be right there, I just had one other person to help (the too many emails guy).
Another amazing part - she was on our intranet's tech support site in the process of logging a ticket!
PRAISE THE GODS!!!!
Someone actually listened to me! I always tell people:
Call me, if I don't answer, leave me a descriptive email that is to the point. If I don't call you back in a reasonable amount of time or if you want a quick resolution, log a ticket.
This is exactly what she was doing!
Some people can be taught!!
