How does this happen? Read on.
A man comes to the sporting goods counter and wants a Resident Hunting certificate and a General game stamp. For those of you who don't know. Resident stamps are MUCH cheaper than Non-Resident so of course I have to see ID. The man pulls out his ID and I take a look at it. I hand it back and say, "Sorry, this license is expired." He has a shocked look on his face and take a look at his license. He say, "Holy cow you are right, I have been driving 2 months with no license!!! Thank you so much for noticing that."
So I can't sell him a hunting certificate, but he compliments me to management. I just saved him ALOT of trouble. If he had been pulled over it wold not be good to hand the officer an expired license. He said he would be back tomorrow with his new license.
Funny thing is that ND licenses expire on your birthday regardless of when you got it. So a week before your birthday, just look at the expiration date and see if it is time to get a new one.
