  • Gasp- Parenting!

Went out for dinner tonight with mommy and old roommate. The table next to ours had the most well-behaved child I have ever seen in my life. Sat fairly quietly, talked a bit loud but not yelling by any means, and was way too cute laying out his penne in a straight line when he got bored/full. The only thing mildly odd (to me) was when my mom mentioned to them that their child was adorable (I guess this is odd? It wasn't meant to be) the father-type-person smiled and one of the women at the table glared. I desperately wanted to go shake the guy's hand for being a good parent, but figured that'd be even weirder.

Maybe her kids are such horrible monsters the other people insisted they be left at home, and she's jealous her precious angels never get such compliments?

Sounds like a charming child. ^w^

Could have been the aunt and uncle/boyfriend of the aunt. Has happened to me when my girlfriend, her mom, and my girlfriend's nephew all go out with me.. people think that the nephew is mine and my girlfriends kid!
