So the wholesale club recently had one of our audits. Audit-time is always a tense time at the store, since everyone's on edge, we gotta toe the line, do everything by the book, the managers are anxious, so they take it out on us, and we take it out on each other as soon as we're sure the auditors aren't looking.
Previous audits haven't always gone well for our store. We've failed them once or twice, and had to undergo a SECOND audit once everyone involved in the audit findings is given a refresher course on the proper procedures.
Well, we NAILED this audit. Our last audit, which we'd JUST BARELY passed, had something like 37 findings. This time, only 9. And those were mostly back in the meat department, from what I've heard. Cashiers and pretty much the entire front line passed with flying colors at 100%.
So, yeah, we rock!
