Sort of. If you call a 1-800/888/877/866 phone number, the number you are calling *FROM* will always be sent along - does not matter if you try to block your phone number. Some companies use the phone number that you are calling from to not only pull up your account info for the agent, but will also give a priority based on if you're a customer and how much you've spent with them in the past. Thus is why folks with, say $1,000,000 in the bank will always get through with no wait while us plebes with $20 will get to <ahem> "enjoy" music on hold.
