  • Buzzing Speakers

    In my laptop.

It sound sort of like cell phone interference, but steady, and you can hear the sound that's supposed to be playing as part of it.

It usually, though not always, happens when I've been listening to something on the internet for a while. The amount of time varies, and it'll carry over to my itunes if I switch, but I've never heard it start there.

Turning the sound off for awhile fixes it, but I'd rather not have to interrupt my listening. Any ideas?

If you can, try plugging in another set of speakers or a pair of headphones into your laptop and see if it still happens.

Basically, it sounds like your speakers are dying. Nothing apart from normal wear and tear. Not a lot you can do about it either apart from replacing them.
